A stunning Art Deco Clock Set with Lamp Garnitures by highly regarded French Sculptor, Jean-Baptiste Hugues, who was working in Paris during the 1920s. A beautifully designed, solid bronze panther mounted on a marble and onyx plinth, supported by four chrome columns in a Romanesque style with a centralised Art Deco dial & chrome pendulum. Signed to the back of the panther Hugues and stamped bronze. All piece is in very good, vintage condition with only minor, age related wear. There is a minimal repair to the small corner of the glass on the back door, not visible when displayed. Clock movement has recently been serviced and it is in good, working condition.
